Divine Retribution is a casual operations guild made up of mature (18+) members with full-time careers and/or families who still love to do operations. Our focus is end-game content but are more than willing to accept friends and family of members (including alts) who are more interested in the social aspect of the game.

General

Applicants must complete an application form. We require everyone to have a website account and to check the Forums periodically for new information. Approved applicants will be added as Recruits for a two-week trial period and then upgraded to full Members. In that time, they are eligible for loot during Operation runs but at a reduced rate compared to full Members.

We are laid-back and committed to having a good time. To ensure everyone has the opportunity to enjoy their game to the fullest, we expect all members to respect their fellow guild mates and to always show Divine Retribution in the best possible light. This means we will not tolerate flame wars, trolling, ninja looting or out-of-hand arguing in guild, general or voice chat.

Operations

DR is a real life and family commitment-friendly guild that understands our members cannot be online all the time, so we arrange our operations schedule to account for that. This means, that while we normally schedule our operations 2030-2330 CET on weeknights, you cannot anticipate we will run the same days every week. We expect our members to visit the Events page on our website frequently to keep updated.

For each operation, the Operation Leaders will choose the members based on who has signed up on the webpage. A combination of factors will determine who goes, including what roles need to be filled, how often you are able to attend and how appropriately you are geared for the planned operation. If after you have signed up for an event, you find out you cannot attend, please change your status prior to an hour before start time. If a member signs up for an operation but does not show, they cannot participate in a scheduled operation for the next week. Three instances of this behavior and you will be banned permanently from running operations. Sometimes, emergencies happen and it is not possible to notify the Operation Leaders prior to start time. In these cases, please contact the Officer Team as soon as possible and we will review your case for a possible exception to policy.

We do not have a minimum gear requirement for any operation but we do expect each person to make an effort to be geared appropriately. We have plenty of crafters and level 50 members who are willing to help with Flashpoints and Dailies.

Currently, we use a free roll loot system based on need. The Operation Leader will pre-determine who is eligible for loot and will direct you to roll a certain way. While accidents do happen, if you purposefully “ninja” loot, you will be removed from the operation and banned from participating in operations for one month. If this happens a second time, you will be kicked from the guild.

Discipline

The Officer Team will handle conflicts. If you have a problem with a fellow guild member, including an Officer or the Guildmaster please approach a member of the Officer Team with the problem either by in-game whisper, private voice chat or a private message on the forums. We take all allegations very seriously and no one, including Officers and the Guildmaster, is immune.

If Divine Retribution sounds like the place for you, please fill out an application.
